Trees seedlings from the Ngorongoro District Council

In collaboration with the Ngorongoro District council, Mapato brought 1500 seedlings from different tree species to be planted by the members of the organization.
Following the arrival of trees, the members organized a meeting which was meant to inform them about the trees arrival and receive the training from the district forest professionals on how to properly plants the trees and nurture to ensure their growth.

Following the training and guidance from the Forest technicians, 33 members of the organization deliberately took 130 trees to plant around their homesteads. Since it in the rainy season, it was a good and appropriate time for trees planting. One of the organization’s membership rules is to plant at least one tree around your homestead. This was highly.

Planting trees in the new Olosirwa primary school.
The office of the organization is adjacent to the new Olosirwa primary school, where 170 different species of trees were planted. The headmaster of the school and the pupils were engaged, and they became part of the exercise, and each tree was given to one student for caring and nurturing. The members showcased on how to plant and cover with shades to avoid sun barning and possibility of being eaten by animals.
